According to <u><a href=\"http:\/\/www.reelseo.com\/online-video-consumers-shop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ReelSEO and Google\u2019s Consumer Barometer<\/a><\/u>, 43% of people go online while watching television. About <strong>three quarters of that internet usage is unrelated to what is on television<\/strong>, though these viewers do have their preferred methods at hand for quick research.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of their preferred methods for going online while watching television, <strong>about half of those viewers use smartphones<\/strong>, and near 40% of those viewers use desktop computers.
