It is a decentralized, blockchain-based online video platform based on the LBRY hosting platform.  The videos tend to load much better than BitChute, and the content is much more diverse, at least when compared to BitChute&#8217;s trending content that tends toward more extreme free speech that is not allowed on YouTube.  Odysee is becoming the decentralized, free speech version of YouTube that people have been wanting back.  <\/p>\n<p>You are likely somewhat aware by this point that YouTube has been censoring and deplatforming users of its platform for political opinions or for even mentioning words or subjects that it considers to be &#8220;fake news&#8221;, &#8220;controversial&#8221;, or against its interests &#8211; especially in regards to worldwide health issues, treatments, riots, military conflagrations, and election results.  Alt-Tech and Odysee in particular seek to remedy this by providing a social, free-speech multimedia experience that is fun and welcoming.  <\/p>\n<p>At this point, YouTube Channel owners should begin uploading their old and new videos to an Odysee channel.  If you meet the requirements (based on following and content originality\/quality), you may even be able to auto-sync your content when you sign up.  <\/p>\n<p>You should know that they have gamified behavior on Odysee, incorporating their own cryptocurrency tokens to support content and affect search results on the platform.  You also have to have an amount of tokens to upload a video, so you should create an account and learn to use the platform by watching videos and following channels on Odysee.  Then proceed to upload your old and new videos on your Odysee channel as you are able to afford the uploads.  There are a number of tasks you can complete to earn tokens when you are new to the platform.  <\/p>\n<p>Odysee is expected to continue improving.
