As noted by the Content Marketing Institute, the following are problems that can result: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the right content. If your content isn\u2019t right (isn\u2019t useful or relevant) for the people you hope to reach, those people won\u2019t read it \u2014 let alone act on it.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re not reaching or targeting the right people. If you haven\u2019t defined and prioritized your audiences, you can\u2019t get your content to the right people because you don\u2019t know who they are or where to find them. (Hint: The general public is no one\u2019s audience.)<\/p>\n<p>Your audience is not receiving your content at the right times. If you don\u2019t understand your audiences\u2019 questions or tasks, you don\u2019t know when they need your content.<\/p>\n<p>You are not creating content for the right reasons. If you can\u2019t articulate measurable business goals as reasons for producing or sharing content, you\u2019re probably wasting your business\u2019 money.
